Together for Heidelberg.

Our Story...

In 2012, we started with MannaManna, a Youth group in the Altstadt. Some of us had come to Heidelberg for work or studying and had been in very active Christian Youth ministries in other cities. So we wanted to give teenagers in Heidelberg the chance to experience the same.

In the meantime, our ministry has grown. In 2015 we founded a YMCA-group that has become a club (e.V.) in 2016. We want to live church and faith in the language, with the music, the topics and at the places that fit to the life of young people in Heidelberg and surrounding. For this reason, we started TeDrei – Young Church Heidelberg in 2017 that is focused on young adults. In cooperation with many other churches we also started BeOne – Youth Church Heidelberg.

For more than 170 years, the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) has united people worldwide – with about 58 million members in 119 countries.

We are living our faith in the language, with the music and at the places that fit to our life in and around Heidelberg.

We get together in groups, have camps, celebrate worship services and parties to enjoy life, to care for each other and to encounter God.

Through the triune God, as he is revealed to us in the scripture, we know ourselves united with each other and with people all around the world. For this reason, we work together as Christians from different traditions and denominations – in cooperation with the Evangelical and Catholic Church and also with several other churches, student ministries and groups in society, here in and around Heidelberg.
